All's Frozen in Love and Wintertime

Brr! Whose crazy idea was it anyway to do mini sessions in the -30 degree weather? *grins sheepishly*

Okay, okay. Maybe it was mine... But I mean look at that outcome! *insert heart eyes emoji*

Just take a look at the beautiful Alberta winter wonderland and tell me it wasn't worth it.

I just have to say, these three couples were such troopers for braving this cold weather! I mean even I was nursing frozen fingers by the end of the day and I was the one wearing approximately 5 layers of clothes, looking like a round lump of mismatched colors with a head and two hands holding a camera poking through! (Hmmmm, maybe that's why my clients had such an easy time laughing throughout the sessions.) But really, these guys were wearing thin sweaters and jeans and leggings in that bitterly cold weather, it's truly a miracle that they all look so relaxed and comfortable.

But as much of a downside as the cold was, it gave me all the more reason to get these guys snuggled up under a thick blanket with hot cocoa, and there's not a much better time to snuggle up and celebrate your love than around Valentine's Day. The red of the blanket, and inevitably the noses and cheeks of these couples, against the stark white beauty of the freshly fallen snow with the majestic tall trees just makes my heart warm. I truly have to say, these are some of my favorite sessions to date!

Thanks so much to you lovely people for bearing with me and allowing me to capture your beautiful love.
